I am a Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Maryland and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Productivity Analysis. My current areas of interest include agricultural economics, production economics, decisionmaking under uncertainty. The pictures you see here are of me and my good friend Beau that were taken in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains in New Mexico and of me paddling a surfski in the Atlantic off the coast of Tarifa, Spain. My family and I reside in Maryland, New Mexico, and New York with two Portuguese Water Dogs (Nelson and Skipper) and 5 horses.
